Singer Kalpana committed suicide on March 2 by taking some sleeping pills and was unresponsive for more than two days. Later on, she was taken to the hospital as her condition was worse. The singer’s condition raised an alarm when the apartment people noticed that she was not answering the emergency call and her apartment doors were locked. When breaking the locks, they found Kalpana lying unconscious on her bed. Later on, she was rushed to the nearby hospital.
