The discovery of witches

(2018-2022) is a British fantastic dramatic series based on Deborah Harkness’s All Souls Trilogy.

The story follows Diana Bishop (Theresa Palmer), a historian and a murderous magician who discovers a mysterious, enchanted manuscript who opens the secrets of magical creation. When he appears deeper into his secrets, he creates an alliance and a forbidden romance – with Matthew Clermont (Matthew Goude), a powerful vampire.

Together, they navigate the world of supernatural beings, and face threats who want to control the power of the book. The series combines imagination, romance and historical intrigue.
