Visceral, polite beautiful tale about survival and revenge

Directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Yurritus, Revenant is a breathtaking, emotionally raw and intensely cruel survival epic subject to the audience in the rough, unforgettable wilderness of the early nineteenth century. With Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar winner, with the stunning cinema of Emmanuel Lubesky and the unmistakable sense of realism, this film is a triumph of cinematography and story.

Plot resume
In 1823, the film was followed by Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio), a border and a fur tracker, which will lead an expedition to a traitorous American wilderness. After a brutal bear attacks him roughly, his men, including ruthless John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy), abandoned him, leaving him to die.

With pure survival instinct and revenge, glass creepers, quarrels, and brutal desire, which refrains beyond the boundaries of human endurance, to control the men who left him. When it navigates icy rivers, hostile tribes, and hunger, the film explores the themes of revenge, endurance, and the primary connection between human and nature.

Final judgment
Revenant is more than just the story of revenge – it is an Imeretian, cruel and visually stunning experience that pushes the boundaries of cinematography, acting and cinema. With DiCaprio’s career performance, a terrible inspiration for visualization and emotionally strong narrative, he is one of the greatest survival films of all time.
