Marksman is a tense, action packed thriller that combines emotional depth with suspicious action. Directed by Robert Lorenz, Liam Nesson, as Jim Hanson, a weed, reconstructive rancher, and a former maritime, who is in the situation of life or death, when he becomes the patron of a young Mexican boy, Miguel, who is a deadly cartel.

Along the US-Mexican border, the film follows Jim because he is forced to use his military training and sharp skills to protect Miguel, while ruthless cartel killers. Neeson delivers solid performance, reflects Jim as a tough but vulnerable character that relates to his demons and seeks redemption. The emotional connection between Jim and Miguel increases the depth of depth, giving it more than simply a typical action thriller vibration.

The pace is stable, with a good balance of action and the development of character. Survival shootings and tense moments are involved in the audience, and the film also explores the consequences of duty, morality and violence. Although the film may not break a new foundation in the genre, it remains a satisfactory watch for NEESON’s action roles.
