Wall (2017) is a stupid and tense war thriller that will leave your place at the edge of your place. The film follows two soldiers who are trapped in the back of the wall, in the middle of the Iraqi desert, after the sniper bullet wounds in one of them. When the duo tries to survive and call for help, the sniper, which is somewhere in the desolate landscape, throws them one by one, making the cats and mouse a deadly game.
The minimalist approach of the film, which is focused on only two characters, for most time, allows for an intense examination of the psychological strain of war. The performances of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Keny are excellent, each of which transmits vulnerability and determination. The tension is skillfully built by counting each shot, which poses a potential threat every second.
With its high -profile stories and the ruthless pace, the wall is the will of survival, fear, and man to live the worst of the circumstances. This is a film that does not need an extravagant kit to get a memorable experience.
